I dont kno if anyone thinks its funny i dothats why i posted it.
Similar things happened to me in MappleStory. At the "newbie land" there was a NPC named Sera asking for a mirror and my name was also Sera. I couldn't count how many whisper i recieved asking where was that mirror. At first it was funny and i was helping them but after a week of recieving whisper every hours or so.. I had to either block whispers or go nut. Then i left the game because it take 3 month to get to level 20 but that's another story...

I still find funny that there's people actually trying to chat with NPCs in games.

I always assumed that you could not create characters with the same names as NPC's ( ). If it happened to me I would be tempted to stand around in areas and emote when people do things.

As far as the rp thing goes. I think that its refreshing to see people rping. Its pretty rare (at least from what I have seen) to see anyone doing it to any degree other than "Hi im <insert character name>, want to do a quest?" and I wouldnt really consider that rping. I am almost inspired to run around roleplaying like that guy.

That fist guy was kind of sweet, I think, if perhaps a little inexperienced with the English Language...

But Officer Sereng's soldier rules! ...

... dismissed.

Speaking of funny stories with noobs....

One time when my frined was on he was complaining that his runes didn't work. I asked him what they were and he said he had 3 major vigors and 1 minor vigor on. He said only his minor vigor worked, along with one major vigor supplying only an additional 11 hp. He even went as far as writing a complaint to ANet saying their game was broken. It took me about 10 minutes to explain to him why his runes weren't "working."

I just found that so hilarious. THe best part is how he spent around 15 plat on the three major vigors.

In a way I feel bad for that guy. 15 plat on runes that he cant use on the same character. Luckily I learned about the one rune type per armor set thing before I started actually getting runes so I didnt have to worry about that.

The sad thing is that it happens fairly often to newer players. I have heard several people talking or complaining about it. It makes me wonder if it talks about the rune limit thing in any of the rules. Guess Ill go find out
